Ever wonder if you are being paid the correct amount for your oil or gas? There are two sites of interest on the gasearch.com site that can help you answer this question:
Texas Pipeline Pricing Index
Monthly average prices paid by the major gas pipelines. Use the aggregate average at the bottom if your purchaser is not listed.
Texas Condensate Price Index
Monthly average prices paid for crude oil - similar to the gas portion of this site.
West Texas Research Group (WTRG)
has an eye-opening section on their site titled "Did you get enough for your crude oil?" Operators are ranked by their performance relative to the MARKET PRICE after adjustment for the quality of crude produced, its location, and the producer's volume of production. This study covers several Texas counties, contact them if you would like them to perform such a study for you!
Merrick Systems
Has free Texas Production Data on their site for both oil and gas wells. Updated monthly, but you'll need to know API numbers(each well has a unique API #) to use this.
